Dinner Curise

Picture after the sun had gone down. We were talking to some people and missed the best part. Oh well we still got a great picture.
lemon sorbet - It was very yummy.
Yummy steak. I am not usually a steak person but I must say this one was really good.
Dessert - It was called a Painter's pallet. It had ice cream as the paint, cookie as the pallet, chocolate stick as the paintbrush, and a edible chocolate picture too. It was very cool and so yummy.
This picture is kinda dark but I was trying to get a picture of our entertainment for the evening. We had a jazz singer and a piano player. It was nice and romantic.

Potato soup. This soup was on ice. It was cold so it just was hard for me to eat. I wanted warm soup. I guess because that is what I am used to.=)

Eric and I had not been out by ourselves in such a long time. Janelle and her husband Mike offered to watch the kids for us so we could go out and enjoy ourselves. We were so excited to do this but felt bad that they were going to watch the kids on their vacation. We decided to take them up though on their offer and we were so glad we did. We had such a great time and so did the kids. It worked out great for us all. You should be able to tell by the pictures that we had a lot to eat. It was a seven course meal so we were so stuffed. We enjoyed just being able to talk to each other, hang out and just enjoy each other's company. It really was a great night and we hope to do it again soon. We do miss spending time like this together. Who wants to come see us and watch the kids? =)=)
